TTM Success #5: Orlando Hudson

I was totally surprised to see these cards show up in the mail. I thought for sure that I wasn't ever going to see a return. Yet, after 474 days (That's 1 year, 3 months, and 17 days), Mr. Hudson signed and returned my TTM request.

I sent these cards to Orland back on March 27, 2017 c/o Arizona Diamondbacks where he is on the coaching staff as a player development assistant.

I chose two of the best candidates I had to send his way, a 2007 Allen & Ginter and a 2007 Topps Heritage. Orlando used a rather bold silver sharpie to sign the cards with. That wouldn't be my first choice, but it still works for me. It definitely looks much better over the white background on the A&G.

His signature has changed slightly since his playing days. It's a little bit more abbreviated, which is understandable, as many players' signature evolve over the years.

Here you can see he had a longer signature back in 2007.

This makes my first go at a TTM project a 100% complete success as all 5 requests have been returned and signed. At the end of the year I will undergo a second run at sending out TTM requests. If you have any suggestions for who to send to, please let me know!

Thanks for reading!
